Here's to You Mrs. Anderson

Sara Anderson has been a mother and abused wife since she was fifteen. Her abusive husband’s sudden death leaves her homeless. Ex-neighbor Chris Taylor returns for the funeral to find the woman that helped raise her, in dire need. The only solution is to take Mrs. Anderson home with her, but is she saving Sara or endangering her life.

Excerpt from “Here’s to You Mrs. Anderson.” “Fixated on Sara, the intruder hurtled toward her. Using the truck’s open door to shield us I screamed for Sara to run into the house and turned to face her attacker. Too late it realized that I was also on the scene. I slammed the door hard into the oncoming menace sending it sprawling to the concrete. Mesmerized, I watched it scramble on all fours like a crazed spider, until it was able to stand and run back into the trees.
