Burdens

In Mission Valley, neighbors help each other. Families spend time working, in town or in the fields where they grow food. The one thing none of the people expected was the trouble they found. Fran Goldsmith, learning that a nearby company has unleashed horror to the people of the valley. Fran has the Burden of knowing her grandchildren are in the line of fire.
