About
Sol is the princess of the Kiran, born with a rare gift known as the Sight, which allows her to see visions of the future. Trained by the kingdom's greatest warrior, Destin, she is strong and capable, but she is still a teenager who doesn't always think things through. Sol can be stubborn and impulsive, and sometimes she acts before considering what could happen, putting herself and others in danger.
Her future has already been planned for her. Sol is promised in marriage to Robin, the prince of the Arrowood, in hopes of keeping peace between their tribes. Sol and Robin have known each other for years and share a deep friendship, but Sol's heart begins pulling her in another direction, toward someone she was never meant to love.
At the same time, her visions begin warning her that something is wrong. She sees the Nox, a dangerous and mysterious tribe, and events she does not fully understand but knows she cannot ignore.
As Sol tries to understand what her visions are showing her, she is drawn deeper into the secrets of her world. There is the magical White Forest and the Sprites who live there, growing tensions between the tribes, and signs that something is happening to the land itself.
Then the ground begins to tremble.
Sol's visions are becoming real, and the danger is far greater than anyone first believed. She must face what is happening to her home while struggling with her feelings for Robin and the person she was never supposed to fall in love with. And as the danger grows, some of Sol's own choices could have consequences for more than just herself.
Archmage Farewell to the Old World begins an epic fantasy series filled with magic, adventure, love, loss, and tragedy, where the characters grow and change as their story continues from one book to the next.
With the future of everyone she loves at risk, Sol must learn to trust the Sight, trust herself, and learn that seeing the future doesn't always mean knowing what to do with it.
The old world is dying, and Sol's story is only beginning.
